Grantham and Bourne is a constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[1] It will first be contested at the 2024 general election.
Boundaries[edit]
Further to the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the composition of the constituency was defined as follows (as they existed on 1 December 2020):
- The District of North Kesteven wards of: Heckington Rural; Osbournby.1
- The District of South Kesteven wards of: Aveland; Belmont; Belvoir; Bourne Austerby; Bourne East; Bourne West; Grantham Arnoldfield; Grantham Barrowby Gate; Grantham Earlesfield; Grantham Harrowby; Grantham Springfield; Grantham St. Vincent’s; Grantham St. Wulfram’s; Lincrest; Loveden Heath; Morton; Peascliffe & Ridgeway; Toller; Viking.[2]
It comprises the majority of the abolished constituency of Grantham and Stamford, excluding the town of Stamford and extended northwards to include a minority of the Sleaford and North Hykeham constituency.
1 Following a local government boundary review which came into effect in May 2023,[3][4] the part in the District of North Kesteven now comprises the following wards from the 2024 general election:
- Heckington Rural; Helpringham & Osbournby; and a small part of Cranwell, Leasingham & Wilsford.[5]
