This template is very incomplete. It is used next to the cemeteries in England template. Because I am currently working on a List of cemeteries in London, after which I will look at the List of cemeteries in England, I will adjust this template when I am done with previous projects. Feel free to help or ask my advice (if needed). The list also contains some red links. These are cemeteries that are considered notable but there is not an article on them. Rather than removing the entry, it would be in the spirit of Wikipedia to start a new article on the omissions. If you have photographs, upload those and add them to the article. But make sure that the article is well written and does justice to the subject.
Would it be best to break out the "Former cemeteries" into their own template/category? Most of them are abandoned churchyards, not cemeteries. Ephebi (talk) 20:32, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed some of the listings for former cemeteries. The linked WP articles do not mention cemeteries, burials, or burial vaults, etc. While we might assume that churchyards were used for burials, WP:V requires sourcing that says so for each church. – S.
