After a few lean months, the article news section includes six newly promoted A-class articles. In line with the increased number of articles promoted to A-class, we also have our first crop of A-class medals since January! As a reminder, quite a few A-class nominations are open -- if you're interested in reviewing any, please see the list of nominations here. The section also includes a large crop of seven new featured articles and a featured list, but unusually there were no new military history featured pictures promoted in March.
A magnificent total of 38 articles were submitted in the Writer's Cup contest for March, having been improved by members of the project. Sturmvogel 66 placed first, scoring 80 points from 13 articles and was awarded the WikiChevrons. Zawed finished second with 55 points from 9 articles and was awarded the Writer's Barnstar. Catlemur, Djmaschek, Dofftoubab, Gog the Mild, Harrias and Hog Farm also submitted entries. The April edition of the contest is open, so enter the articles you are currently working on into the contest!
